Healing takes on new meaning at all locations of The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, with the focus on a patient’s entire life—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Our medical professionals provide cancer patients with diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care modeled after the finest facilities in the nation.

Patients have access to medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, hematologists, surgeons, pathologists, dieticians, integrative therapy and social service professionals in a single, easily accessible location in Fort Worth, Texas. Four other locations are conveniently located in Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Cleburne, and Burleson. The availability of clinical trial participation offers access to drugs and regimens at the earliest possible stage of development. A wide variety of support services help sustain the patient and family members during their journey with cancer.

The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is the realization of a vision shared by two medical oncologists, Michael Ross, M.D. and William Jordan, D.O. Working in solo cancer treatment practices in Fort Worth since 1980, the pair combined their efforts in 1994 based on a concern for treating the entire patient—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Today the physician group includes fifteen physicians, four nurse practitioners, and a staff of ninety medical and administrative professionals.

Today more than 25,000 patient visits take place annually at our downtown location and five satellite clinic locations. The 54,000 square foot Fort Worth location, opened in 2005, offers the most extensive community cancer care in the north Texas area. As a single location for cancer care, The Center locations eliminate multiple trips to different doctors at a variety of locations, during what may be the most difficult time of a patient’s life. The facility offers a true continuum of cancer care.
