Chris Jordan, D.O., is a recent physician associate of the Center, joining the practice in July of 2002. Dr. Jordan received
his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas and attended graduate school prior to entering medical school
at The University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, graduating in 1999.
He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of North Texas - Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas. Dr.
Jordan is board certified in internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Jordan's residency
was followed by a fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He received
board certification in medical oncology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Jordan is currently involved in all aspects of medical oncology, including patient care and clinical research. The majority
of his clinical time is spent at the downtown office of The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Since January 2006, he has
been active developing a young adult cancer survivorship program at The Center.
Dr. Chris Jordan represents the next generation of highly committed physicians at The Center. He comes from a strong medical
family. Additionally, his wife, Melissa (Missy) is an R. N. and they have two children – Maddy and Mason.
