About Our Location

Meeting the cancer treatment needs of patients and their families in Burleson and other areas of Johnson County has been a major focus of The Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders for many years. Working in cooperation with Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South, our team of dedicated cancer specialists offers cancer services comparable to those found in any major city.

We are proud to announce the new Careity Breast Center, a concept dedicated to breast cancer patients. Along with the beautiful new location within our existing clinic, a new approach has been introduced with our “We’re In This Together” Breast Cancer Program. Newly diagnosed breast cancer patients meet with their surgeon, a physician specializing in medical oncology, a physician specializing in radiation oncology, and a cancer navigator at a single appointment prior to beginning treatment.

Traditionally, patients meet with each individual doctor over a period of weeks, often leading to extended anxiety prior to each visit. The new concept gives patients and family members the opportunity to ask questions of their entire team of physicians for an overall better understanding of the proposed cancer treatment plan.

The new approach to cancer treatment is matched by the comforting, spa-like surroundings of The Careity Breast Center. In addition to chemotherapy and radiation therapy, cancer treatment support services offered include specialized cancer massage therapy, nutritional support, psychotherapy, genetic testing, social services, spiritual support, guided imagery, lymphedema prevention/treatment, and a survivor wellness program.Careity Foundation is a local non-profit organization established to help cancer patients through providing a wide array of related services.

One of the Nation’s Most Highly Respected Cancer Centers

All locations of The Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders were recognized, through national certification, by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®) Certification Program, an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). This level of expertise was earned by meeting rigorous cancer treatment standards—accomplished by only 23 oncology practices in the nation.
